PANJIM: Kenneth Silveira, booked for allegedly spreading false rumours about the health of Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar, has alleged political vendetta behind his arrest.
At a press conference, few days after his release on conditional bail, Silveira said he is made the target because of his RTI applications to the government.
“During the questioning, the police asked me why I was filing so many RTIs. It clearly means there is political vendetta against me,” he said denying his Facebook post regarding CM was with wrong intention. He clarified that his post was to inform that CM was not in Goa.
