PANJIM: The Panjim Traditional Festivals Committee will be organizing various traditional programmes including Khell Tiatr and Alvorada as part of Carnival-2014, between March 1 to 4.
Tiatrs will be staged at Kala Academy Open Air auditorium with Nit-Onit by Tomazinho Cardozo, on March 2, at 6.30pm; Amchem Ghor by Comedian Agostinho on March 3 and Sonvsar Budlo by Comedian Domnic and Luis Bachchan on March 4. On all the three days a fancy dress will be organized during the drama. During the Alvorada, a group will go around Panjim, Taleigao, Caranzalem, Dona Paula on March 1 at 5 am to get the people into the Carnival mood.
The committee consists of Joaquim Teles, Timoteo Fernandes, Napolean D’Souza, John Dias, Anagha Warlikar, Lourenço Fernandes, John Aguiar, Aaron Teles, Pravin Fernandes, Cezar D’Mello and Nicola Lopes.
