The project received an overwhelming response from children. Dr Renuka da Silva, the project in-charge, said that the idea was to motivate the children of Goa to express their views and create a mural of Green Goa.
The streets were filled with children who painted the white walls with green and other colours, depicting nature, trees and other aspects of conserving the environment. MLAs Vijai Sardesai and Rohan Khaunte were present.
