Konkan Railway has been continuously conducting intensive ticket checking drives. During the last 03 months (Aug 2023 to Oct 2023) total of 14,150 unauthorized/irregular travellers were detected without tickets and were penalized. A total of ₹86, 37,820/- was recovered from fines.
In August 2023 Konkan Railway detected 4484 cases and collected fine of Rs. 26, 67,555/-, In September 2023 it detected 4888 cases and collected fine of Rs. 27,09,700/- and in October 2023 4778 cases were detected and total of Rs. 32,60,565/- fine was collected.

Konkan Railway has appealed to passengers to travel with proper and valid tickets in order to avoid the inconvenience, as KRCL will be intensifying the Ticket Checking drives in the next 03 months.
