Kotwale’s appointment as Smart City CEO kept on hold

PANJIM: In a strange turn of events, just two days after Srinet Kotwale was appointed as the CEO of Panjim Smart City, the State government took a decision on Thursday to keep its own order in abeyance.

Goa Forward Party (GFP) has criticised the decision. Reacting to this, GFP Vice-President Durgadas Kamat tweeted “Pappu @goacm is leading a pathetic #StateOfAffairs by replacing an #Officer in 24 hrs who rejected to be his #YesMan as it would stop his loot under the #SmartCityProject. Chief Secretary must clarify and immediately reverse the #TransferOrder within 24 hours. #SaveGoaNow.”
