MARGAO: In an indirect attack aimed at Mickky Pacheco, Benaulim legislator Churchill Alemao on Sunday advised the former Nuvem MLA that for once he should stop playing politics over COVID-19 pandemic.

Without naming Mickky, Churchill asked him/anyone to come with ideas and suggestions to improve the health facilities to prevent the spread of the virus.

The Benaulim  MLA demanded a strict vigil by the Indian Reserve Battalion on the COVID Care Centre to ensure none of the inmates lodged at the centre leave the premises.

Churchill requested the critics to suggest ideas to make the centres safe for people outside and for Goans who are lodged inside.

Colva panch Menino Fernandes said the Government has to requisition more hotels in North Goa too and requested the Chief Minister to maintain a strict vigil on theses COVID Care Centres.

“Close the borders to prevent entry of non-Goans into Goa,” Menino requested.
