I am very happy that the Chief Minister is back in the Assembly, especially on the day of the Budget. I hope and pray for his speedy recovery. I have not seen the Budget, I will have to read the Budget and then only I can talk.
Luizinho Faleiro, Congress MLA
The way he came and placed the Budget shows how much love he has for Goa. I feel there is a 12-13 percent increase in the Budget as compared to last year. Every department has been given something. I welcome the budget.
Ramkrishna Dhavalikar, PWD Minister
There is no provision in the Budget for mining dependents, there is no significant direction as what will be spent on curtailing drugs. The Chief Minister was not well and due to this we have not said anything on it. We were expecting a better Budget but since he was not well, our comments are very less.
Aleixo Reginaldo Lourenco,
Congress MLA
I appreciate his determination. He spoke very simply today and I pray to God for his recovery and better health.
Churchill Alemao, NCP MLA
This Budget is Rs 17,000 crore while the previous one was Rs 16,000 but we do not know whether all the money was spent. We will have to see the allocation later. We had always prayed for Manohar Parrikar’s health. I wish him a speedy recovery.
Ravi Naik, Congress MLA

Vishwajit Rane, Health Minister
Overall gist of the Budget looks to be very good. The Chief Minister has a wish that the employment scenario handled well. The Budget looks good and priorities are given to different sectors.
