Leo Rodrigues elected unopposed as new Chairperson of Mormugao Municipal Council

Two-time Councillor Leo Rodrigues was elected unopposed as the new Chairperson of Mormugao Municipal Council. The election was scheduled for Monday. All 25 councillors supported Leo Rodrigues. The previous chairperson Damodar Kaskar stepped down due to mutual agreement within the ruling BJP panel.
