Residents in Corlim have uncovered alleged illegal garbage dumping at the old Panchayat building after spotting a vehicle unloading mixed wet and dry waste at the site.
Following complaints from locals, police and officials from the Goa State Pollution Control Board inspected the premises. The vehicle involved in the dumping was detained, and four labourers were arrested in connection with the incident.
