PANJIM: The equipment for towing the grounded M V Lucky 7 offshore vessel is likely to reach Goa on Tuesday, as the salvage exercise is expected to begin next week.
The Golden Globe Hotels Pvt Ltd that owns the vessel has entered into an agreement with Mumbai agency Arihant Ship Breakers to tow the vessel back to Mormugao Port Trust (MPT).
The experts from the Mumbai salvaging company had called for special towing equipment which is expected to reach Goa on Saturday, an official said.
The salvaging operation would however commence after a thorough inspection.
