CURCHOREM: Quepem police registered a complaint against one Agostin Carvalho, a resident of Majorda, for assaulting and wrongly confining a chocolate distributor at Borimoll, Quepem on Wednesday.
According to PI Pravin Gauns, the complainant Denson Santan Corria, a resident of Gonvol-Xeldem, working with the agency, complained that Carvalho assaulted and forcibly confined him in his (Carvalho) car and robbed a bag containing cash of Rs 3.84 lakh.
“Efforts are on to trace the accused who is also wanted in other cases at various police stations,” said PI Gauns.
Police have booked the accused for robbery, wrongful confinement and abduction.
