ANJUNA: Nitesh Goral, a Mapusa resident, died after his scooter rammed into the Innova car of Bollywood Actress Zareen Khan at Nagoa on Wednesday evening.
The victim rammed his scooter into the side of Khan’s car before falling down. The Innova car, driven by the actress’ friend Abbas Ali Muhammad Husain was taking a U-turn when an oncoming vehicle rammed into the side of the Innova.
Investigating Officer Vishal Mandrekar told Herald that the accident occurred at around 6 pm.
After the accident, the actress and her friend shifted Goral who had suffered head injuries to Mapusa District Hospital in their own vehicle. However he was declared dead on arrival.
The driver was arrested and an FIR was registered by Anjuna Police.
However, the accused has been released on bail on Wednesday late evening.
