MARGAO: South Goa Additional District and Sessions judge Vincent D’Silva on Friday held Joseph Kadarkoti, resident of Varunapuri, Vasco, guilty for the murder of his wife Hemamary. On August 25, 2013, after an altercation Joseph had assaulted his wife and then poured boiling water over her body with an intention to kill. The victim later expired at the Goa Medical College Hospital, Bambolim, while undergoing treatment. Public prosecutor Asha Arshekar argued before the court that the case was based on dying declaration and circumstantial evidence.
