PANJIM: Justice V K Jadhav Commission of Inquiry probing the land grabbing in the State on Monday adjourned to March 23, further hearing on the complaint against Mandrem MLA Jit Arolkar of having allegedly grabbed land admeasuring 1,48,800 square metres situated at Dhargalim Village in Pernem Taluka of which Mapusa-based Rawloo Khalap currently residing at California is a co-owner.
Khalap, 77, who arrived in the State from the United States on Monday, filed an affidavit detailing the manner on how his property was high-handedly allegedly grabbed by Arolkar. Adv Aires Rodrigues on July 4 last year had filed a complaint on behalf of Khalap with the Special Investigation Team (SIT).
