BICHOLIM: Bicholim police filed offense against unknown culprits for snatching the mangalsutra of a woman walking from main road to Sarvan Bicholim.
According to Bicholim police, a complaint in this connection was lodged by one Indira Ramnath Dhawaskar from Dhawaskarwada Sarvan that two unknown culprits riding a scooter suddenly snatched her Mangalsutra costing Rs 1, 40,000 and fled away from the scene when she was about reach her home.
Complainant added that the scooter ridden by the culprits did not have a number plate. Bicholim police is investigating the matter.
