PONDA: Forty-year-old Aksanwada-Marcaim resident Vishnu Khulu Gawade died in an accident that took place at Adanawada, Marcaim.
According to police, the victim, a PWD employee, was returning home when he lost control of his scooter and went off the road and rammed into a compound wall of a house located by the roadside.
He sustained serious injuries. He was admitted to Marcaim Primary Health Centre and later moved to the Goa Medical College and Hospital. However, he succumbed to his injuries.
