MARGAO: Opposition Leader Digambar Kamat has urged the Margao residents not to panic over reports of a town health worker testing positive for COVID-19.
The health worker was working at Vasco Health Centre.
Digambar Kamat said, “One resident of Margao working in the Health Department at Vasco is tested positive for COVID-19 and is already admitted to COVID Hospital. I appeal to Madgaonkars not to panic. Please maintain physical distancing and hygiene, wear masks and co-operate with government authorities. Let us work together to defeat corona”.
A resident of Aquem, a staff of the Vasco Health Centre, had gone to Mangor Hill for field work. He tested positive for COVID-19.
