MARGAO: South Goa Additional Sessions Judge P V Sawaikar on Friday granted conditional anticipatory bail to Mariano Fernandes of Candolim, Director of tiatr “Apunn Apleak, Dev Somestank,” against whom the Verna police had registered offence under section 384 and 500 of the IPC.
The court directed the Verna police to release Mariano on a personal bond of Rs 5,000 and surety in like amount in the event of his arrest. He has been further directed to report to Verna police for four days from August 17 from 9 am to 12 noon.
Verna police had registered a case against Mariano on a complaint lodged by Nuvem MLA Francisco Xavier Pacheco.
