PANJIM: The Marine Products Export Development Authority (MPEDA), Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India has organised a quiz Competition ‘Marine Quest 2017’.
The competition is being held at the national level for the students from standards 8 to 12.
The preliminary rounds of ‘Marine Quest 2017’ will be conducted in all maritime states including Goa.
The preliminary round for Goa will be held on August 12, at 9.30 am at Mandovi Hall, Goa International Centre Centre, Dr E Borges Road, Dona Paula.
Semi finals and final competition will be conducted at Kochi, Kerala on August 24. The qualifying teams will be provided ticket fare accommodation and food.
The top three winners of the competition will be given cash prizes in the MPEDA function at Kochi, Kerala on August 24. The first prize will be Rs 25,000, the 2nd prize will be Rs 5,000 and the third prize will be Rs 5,000.
