MARGAO: While Gandhi Market was open till 6 am, the provision stores at SGPDA retail market and New Market were open on Wednesday in Margao. However, though the government has permitted sale of fish, the retail fish market was closed.

Interestingly, neither of the two ladies who were selling dry fish outside the dry fish market was present on Wednesday. But one person was selling dry fish by the roadside on the road leading to Navelim.
Meanwhile, Goa Police in an advisory has asked people to verify the contents before forwarding any post about Covid-19 and asked people to stay at home and stay safe.
