MARGAO, JUNE 25
The Margao police on Friday carried out a raid on matka den in a closed place inside the Gandhi market and arrested five persons.
The police also seized cash of Rs 27,235, besides gambling material, from the den during the raid.
The raid was conducted following directions from the Sub-divisional Police officer, Margao DySP Umesh Gaonkar.
The arrested accused were later released on bail of Rs 5000 each.
