BICHOLIM: Tulshidas Chodankar was elected unopposed as the sarpanch of Mayem panchayat in the election held in the panchayat office on Wednesday.
The post fell vacant following Urvi Masurkar’s resignation. Since the lone application was filed for the post, Tulshidas was elected unopposed as the sarpanch by the election officer Navanath Amre. Panchayat Secretary Mahadev Naik assisted in election process.
