PONDA: Stepping up their opposition to the controversial Sopo Tax, vendors will hold public meeting behind the vegetable market near Shantinagar, Ponda, at 4 pm on Friday, to highlight their grievances against the Ponda Municipal Council (PMC).
In a press release, the Ponda Vendors Association (PVA) accused the PMC of harassing the vendors through the imposition of the controversial Sopo tax.
