Rane was speaking at one of the functions organized at Margao on Sunday, in the presence of Margao MLA DigambarKamat.

It is pertinent to note that since the master plan for Margao has been presented, a large number of Margao citizens have been raising their concern on the issue. Citizens of Margao have been continuously expressing anger for not taking the general public into confidence on the master plan.

“For proper development, there is need for a master plan and similarly people’s suggestions too need to be taken into consideration before finalizing the plan,”  he stated.

However, Margao MLA Digambar Kamat is of the opinion that the master plan will not remain as master plan if shown to the public and it will turn into something else.
