VASCO: Hailing the One Nation, One Election idea, Urban Development Minister Milind Naik on Thursday said he is not sure how it would be implemented in toto without facing any objections from some people.
Naik informed the media persons that the idea of One Nation, One Election is the best. However, he said the complete implementation of this idea in such a big densely populated country would be challenging.

He mentioned that there might be some objections to this idea too as for every good idea there is always an opposition.
He said if the One Nation, One Election concept is implemented then the process of imposing Code of Conduct, conducting elections multiple times, etc, would be saved.
Naik reiterated that the decision of the State Election Commission to push ahead the municipal elections three months ahead is good and in fact it should have been pushed five months ahead if COVID-19 pandemic is the reason.
He initiated the works in Ward No 1 of filling up the potholes and repairing the roads.
