MARGAO: Margao police on Sunday registered a complaint for allegedly kidnapping a 15-year-old minor girl from Aquem, Margao.
Based on the complaint lodged by the girl’s father, an offence under Section 363 for kidnapping and 8 of Goa Children Act has been registered.
According to police, in the complaint the father stated that his elder daughter aged 15 years was kidnapped from his house at Aquem from lawful guardianship. At the time of leaving the house, she was wearing blue jeans and white top and her complexion is whitish.
Police said that wireless messages have been sent across Goa and neighbouring States and further investigation is in progress.
Police informed no note has been kept at home.
