VALPOI: The body of a 23-year-old woman from Hivrem, Sattari who was reported missing since Sunday, was found in the Valvanti River in Morlem on Monday.
According to Valpoi police, the body of Sangeeta Mohan Gaonkar from Hivrem, Sattari was found in the Valvanti River in Morlem on Monday.She had recently married Mohan Gaonkar from Hivrem, and was reported to have gone missing on Sunday evening. On Friday, she returned after visiting her parents at Morlem. And since Sunday, she was reported to be missing. Her parents went searching for her and on Monday Sangeeta’s body was found in the river.
The Valpoi police station, police personnel reached the site and retrieved the body, which has been sent for post-mortem at the Goa Medical College and Hospital, Bambolim. Police Sub Inspector Gaurish Malik is investigating case.
