MARGAO: With the two posts of South Goa Additional Collectors I & II lying vacant for quite some time, the government has now asked Margao Municipal Chief Officer, Naveen S L to hold the additional charge of the two posts pending further orders.
South Goa District Collector, Venancio Furtado informed that the MMC Chief Officer will hold the additional charge of both Additional I and II pending transfer and posting of officers as a stop gap arrangement.
“When I had brought to the notice of the state government the situation arising out of the vacant posts of Additional Collectors in South district, the government has given additional charge of the two posts to Naveen as a stop gap arrangement”, Venacio told Herald.
