The villagers suspect that the building owner is making a fool of them by saying that the structure coming up atop his building is a water tank.
The residents have petitioned the sarpanch to inspect the structure immediately and investigate the nature and purpose of the structure and issue a ‘stop work’ notice.
They pointed out that the panchayat is bound to act against the structure, as in the pas it had passed resolutions not to allow any mobile towers near residential areas.
