The NCP said when the Special Status resolution was passed in the Assembly, the CM had categorically stated that the BJP at the Centre, whether it came to power or not, would support it.
Stating that the Prime Minister and his government at the Centre had rejected every proposal of Chief Minister Parrikar, right from mining package, buffer zone, interest waiver by Finance Ministry and many others, the NCP has argued that this is an indication that the Prime Minister-Parrikar relations are absolutely sour.
