PANJIM: Education Secretary Nila Mohanan will hold additional charge as Education Director with immediate effect. The charge has been handed over to her following the retirement of Gajanan Bhat, who served as director education since August 2014.
In an order issued on Wednesday, Under Secretary (Personnel I) Harish Adconkar said that Mohanan will hold the charge of the post of director education, in addition to her duties with immediate effect.
Bhat, who was due for retirement on December 31, 2017 after attaining the superannuation age of 60, was granted a year’s extension in January 2018 and retired on December 31, 2018.
