Monserrate assures justice to ST community

PANJIM, FEB 1
Taleigao Tribal Welfare Association(TTWA) held recently a meeting with the Education Minister Babush Monserrate regarding Schedule Tribe demands and submitted a memorandum on the same.
Mr Monserrate assured to do justice to the ST people and said that he would put forth their demands to the Social Welfare Minister Sudin Dhavlikar.
President of Taleigao Tribal Welfare Association Pundalik Gauns appealed to the ST people to appoint a committee in every constituency and submit their demands to their respective MLAs and stated further that the ST community has not received justice for the last 6 years as the government has declared ST status in the year 2003.
