PONDA: Bandora locals will take out a morcha and hold a public meeting to protest the anti-social activities of the Sanatan Sanstha on October 11.
Saurab Lotlikar said the morcha will commence from Ramnathi at 3.30 pm and proceed towards Ponda bus stand and culminate in a public meeting. He said many NGOs and speakers from across Goa will participate.
Meanwhile, Sanatan has asked Ponda police to take preventive action against Lotlikar.
Local panchayat member Sharmila Lotlikar has also demanded that the government ban or shift the sanstha but her name has been not included in the complaint.
According to Sanatan there is no complaint against them by locals and only four people, including Saurabh, have been making statements in the media. The complaint mentions that last year locals had clashed with the sanstha on the narkasur issue and at that time too Saurabh had demanded that the organisation be banned. Sanatan Sanstha managing trustee Virendra Marathe made the complaint on behalf of the sanstha.
