BICHOLIM: North Goa MP Sripad Naik was in for a rude shock when the residents of Sarvan in Bicholim grilled him on several pending issues.
Today the north Goa MP had come to Sarvan in Bicholim taluka to attend a block level meeting of BJP. The residents of Sarvan questioned the MP over the bad condition of road at Ambica Nagar at Sarvan. They stated that during the elections they were promised that the matter would be taken on priority basis but even after so many months the road is still in a dilapidated condition.
The residents also came down heavily on the party for failing to fulfill their promises of giving jobs to the unemployed. The absence of the local Mayem MLA, Pravin Zantye also added fuel to the fire and the residents sought to know why he has remained absent for the meeting. They told that Zantye is not available for the public and asked who is going to solve their problems.
