MARGAO: A of Mumbai Municipal Corporation Commissioners on Friday visited the SGPDA retail fish market which has been developed on the lines of Dubai fish markets.
The Mumbai Corporation team has liked the work put in to the market and the facilities created here and has decided to replicate it in their Mumbai markets.
Interacting with the media, Assistant Commissioner (markets division) Sangita Hasnale said that she found photos of the SGPDA fish market on social media and was impressed with the work done here. Sangita also appreciated the separation of fish cutting facility from the main Market.
The team was guided MMC chairperson and SGPDA member secretary and city councillors.
