VASCO: The ceremonial launch of the drain work at Murdi, Cansaulim, which was done last year by the local MLA, is still yet to see the light of day.
Murdi locals are early waiting when the government will commence the work of drain by the roadside stretch, which is prone to water logging in the rainy season.

Panchas say the ceremonial commencement of the work was done last year by the local MLA but till date the work has not materialised.
Murdi-Cansaulim Village Panchayat Panch Ratnadip Naik said that the residents from Murdi Ward are facing problem during the monsoon due to water logging near their houses as there is no storm drain built by the roadside.
He further said that some locals from the ward namely Satish Naik, Sudha Sattarkar, Vishaka Sattarkar and others met him and put forth their grievances.
