MARGAO: Two COVID Care Centres proposed by Margao Municipal Council (MMC) at Indoor Stadium, Navelim and Nehru Stadium, Fatorda are ready but yet to commence, as the proposal to appoint medical staff is still pending with the government.
MMC Chief Officer Agnelo Fernandes said both need medical staff and a proposal for the same has already been submitted.
“We are ready with the infrastructure at both the centres. MMC had appealed for help in smooth functioning of the centres. We need four doctors and eight nurses in each centre besides other staff”, Fernandes said.
