Representatives and concerned citizens from the Navelim Panchayat met Additional Collector Ramesh Gaonkar to discuss issues related to garbage management and delays in installing CCTV cameras at the panchayat.
Gaonkar directed officials to prepare a detailed estimate covering wet and dry waste management and submit a panchayat-level report within 15 days. The appointment of Class-I contractors for waste management was also discussed during the meeting.
