Navy invites applications

PANJIM, JAN 8
The Indian Navy has invited applications from unmarried male candidates for enrolment as sailors for senior secondary recruits. The educational qualifications prescribed for the post are 10+2/equivalent with Maths and Physics as compulsory subjects, and Chemistry/Biology/Computers as optional subjects.
Candidates should have been born between August 1, 1988 to July 31, 1992 (both dates inclusive).
During initial training period stipend of Rs 5700 per month will be admissible, but on successful completion of initial training an amount equal to the minimum scale shall be admissible with retrospective effect.
