PANJIM: Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) observer Bharti Chavan has landed into another controversy after she reportedly sent unsavoury text messages via cellphone to two ticket aspirants.

Bharti, in the text messages allegedly asked the aspirants in filthy language to prove that she had demanded Rs 15 lakh for the party tickets.
After the aspirants complained to the high command, sources say, Dr Prafful Hede, was asked to conduct an internal inquiry and submit a report.
“Dr Hede has completed the inquiry after hearing all sides and has also submitted the report to party leaders,” sources disclosed.
Following this, Bharti has been asked to leave
Also, the leaders felt that since there is still time for the announcement of alliance with Congress and its candidates, there is no point in Bharti staying here till then, sources stated.
Bharti, is already in the eye of the storm, after her spat with state Unit president Surendra Sirsat, wherein she claimed “Sirsat has done nothing for the party except lobbying for Mapusa ticket.”
Sirsat has reportedly complained to the high command in this regard.
A few months ago she was also involved in a verbal dual with Jitendra Deshprabhu, who was with NCP then.
