New HC building set for inauguration

PANJIM: The State machinery is all set to inaugurate the new building of High Court of Bombay at Goa.

Chief Justice of India S A Bobde in the presence of Union Minister for Law and Justice Ravi Shankar Prasad along Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant and other dignitaries will inaugurate the New High Court Building of the High Court of Bombay at Goa at Porvorim, at 11 am, on Saturday, March 27.

Besides five Supreme Court Judges and around 62 Judges of Bombay High Court and its benches in Aurangabad, Nagpur and Goa will attend the inaugural function.

Law Minister Nilesh Cabral, other Cabinet Ministers, MLAs, Advocate General Devidas Pangam and other dignitaries will also be present.

The work on the new two-storey court building has been executed by the Goa State Infrastructure Development Corporation (GSIDC).
