New industrial estates to be set up: Minister

PONDA: Industries Minister Mahadev Naik stated that all the industrial estates in the State will be provided with all necessary infrastructure and new industries and industrial estates will be set up to help solve the unemployment problem in the State.

Naik was speaking after commissioning the hot mix carpeting of internal roads at Bethora Industrial Estate. 
The work is undertaken through GSIDC at a cost of about Rs 1.30 crore. The Bethora Industrial Association members put forth various problems including power and water supply problem faced at Bethora IE. They also demanded to make available place to dispose industrial waste. Naik assured to look into their grievances.
IDC Director and Bethora Panch Chandrakant Samanth, Panch Durgada Vaidya, IDC General Manager Prakash Gurav, Bethora IDC manager Abay Velingkar and Bethora IE Association President Sunil Kesarkar were present.
