Newborn strangulated to death

PORVORIM, FEB 19: In a shocking incident, a newborn girl was strangulated to death and then dumped in a dustbin at Mapusa market late Friday night.
Mapusa police received a phone call at about 11.30 pm on Friday stating that the body of an infant was lying in a dustbin in the market.
A police team rushed to the site and sent the body to the GMC hospital for an autopsy. The autopsy report confirmed to strangulation.
Police have registered a case of murder and are on the lookout for the parents. Mapusa PI Rajesh Kumar is supervising investigations in the case.
