MARGAO: Principal Sessions Judge B P Deshpande on Monday heard arguments in the Ruby Residency case, where advocate Amir Prabhudessai argued on behalf of his client Prakash Bandodkar.
Prabhudessai’s arguments focused on pointing out that the TCP officer’s job was to check if the zoning and height of the proposed buildings were correct and said that other agencies were supposed to look at other aspects.
Adv Radharao Gracias, representing Prashant Shirodkar, ex-CMC CO, said he would adopt the arguments made by Adv Carlos Alvares who represented the third accused Vishwas Dessai, the contractor.
The matter is now fixed for next hearing on July 19.
