CANACONA: Anil Bhagat, the newly appointed Canacona taluka president of the NGO ‘Revolutionary Goans’, has submitted a letter to the deputy collector listing the anomalies that he and his team observed during a visit to the construction site of the Ravindra Bhavan at Chaudi, Canacona.
Later speaking to Herald, Bhagat pointed out that Krishna Builders from Delhi, the contractors of the Ravindra Bhavan project undertaken through GSIDC was openly flouting the laid down norms.
He said, “The builder has constructed a cement godown cum laboratory on the side of the NH. The foundation is not above ground level so there is imminent danger of the construction site being flooded during the monsoons.”
