MAPUSA: Anjuna police on Wednesday arrested a Nigerian National one Eze Kelechi (30) with drugs worth Rs 7 lakh during a narcotic raid.
According to Anjuna police, PI Patil received information that a person will deliver drugs near Ginger Tree, opposite Monkey Bar.
A team was formed and raid was conducted during which the police arrested the Nigerian national with drugs worth Rs 7 lakh. The accused is booked under Section 20(b) (ii) (A) of NDPS Act.
The police comprised of Vishwajit Chodankar, Vishal Mandrekar, Anant Chari, Vishal Naik, Pravin Patil, Rama Raut, Gaurish Goltekar and Adarsh Nageshkar.
PSI Chodankar is investigating the case.
