With barely few days left for voting, BJP Candidate Alina Saldanha has adopted a unique campaigning strategy, a night halt in the homes of the supporters and not to go back to her residence at Mapusa. This helps her to start house to house campaign early next day in same locality.
On Tuesday, before Alina could finish her breakfast at one of her supporter’s residence in Upasnagar, her other supporters started thronging to join her for campaigning and at about 7.30 am. Thereafter Alina, along with the supporters, left the house to meet working families and later moved on towards Cortalim village to kick-start routine door-to-door campaigning here.
“Going house to house is very important aspect which I learnt during the last few weeks. By doing this we learn people’s individual issues and come to know their difficulties like access to roads. I have decided that in my next tenure I will focus on resolving small issues, besides taking up other developmental projects all over the constituency. Also the response I received was tremendous,” Alina said.
