Nine held in Goa after Crime Branch raid on gambling den in Honda

In a late-night operation in Goa, the Crime Branch conducted a raid on a suspected gambling den in Honda, Sattari, leading to the detention of nine individuals. Acting on specific intelligence inputs, the team swooped in during the early hours and caught the accused allegedly engaged in a card gambling activity locally known as “Andhar Bahar.”

Officials seized cash amounting to 52,300 along with playing cards and other related materials from the premises and from those involved. The gambling setup was reportedly being run in a concealed location in Honda.
