PONDA: Six out of the 11-member Veling Priol Cuncoliem Panchayat on Wednesday submitted no confidence motion notice to Ponda Block Development Office (BDO) against Sarpanch Laxmikant Khedekar citing reasons that he is not taking them into confidence while taking development works.
They also mentioned that the sarpanch was also not giving proper time for the public in the panchayat.
The six panchas who had signed the notice include Damodar Naik, Harichdra Zalmi, Pandurang Gaude, Varad Mardolkar, Mangaldas Gaude and Diksha Naik.
