Police is yet to make any progress into the gang rape and death of a 45-year-old woman at Arambol, amidst growing dissatisfaction among residents of the village.
While police officials claimed that the police has zeroed in on two suspects, no arrests have been made so far.
The victim, a resident of Korgao-Pernem, was admitted in an unconscious state at GMC hospital after the incident, which took place over a fortnight ago and breathed her last, denying the police an opportunity to record her statement.
Locals of Arambol and Korgao have expressed unhappiness over the slow police investigations into the case.
